How it works

You grant access. We handle the rest.

Open the app, allow Photos, and wait for the scan to finish.

  1. 01

    Allow Photos

Once access is granted, CJourney can read capture time and location.

  2. 02

    Auto scan

No manual sorting—photos are processed and turned into your footprint.

  3. 03

    See results

Usually ready in tens of seconds. Then explore on the map and in stats.

More than auto-organize

Capture the moment, too

Check-in

Map preview with current time, place, and altitude. One tap for “I was here.”

iCloud backup

Optionally back up your app data snapshot to your iCloud container for peace of mind across devices.

Privacy

Original photos are never uploaded

To recognize places, photo coordinates are sent to CJourney services for geocoding; the original photos themselves are not uploaded. The product is local-first and keeps your archive on your device whenever possible.

  • Only the location, time, and linking data needed for features
  • Share and export only when you choose
  • Full privacy policy is available in app Settings
